I was really happy to be interviewed by The Times alongside a series of political speechwriters to provide my thoughts on leadership communication.

In my analysis of Keir Starmer’s speaking style, I highlighted the importance of emotional connection in public speaking, but I did praise Starmer’s consistency and calmness.

As I explained, "If he wants to connect with the different stages of emotion that the country is going through with this change, he needs to project that he identifies and connects with those emotions."
