The Church of Fail

An innovative, fun and high impact approach to embrace a culture of learning from our mistakes.

Introducing The Church of Fail.

I created The Church of Fail ten years ago at a team off site, charged with the brief of improving our clients and employees lives.

The result was a powerful combination of improvisation, stagecraft and sound business logic coming together into a fun, accessible but highly relevant and impactful workshop format that helps teams learn from their mistakes.

Though this practise, in time, the conversations around the concept of ‘failure’ are normalised and growth takes its place.

Since creating this totem ten years ago, it’s gone from strength to strength, taking place right across the globe - from boardrooms to conferences to classrooms - and even picked up in the news and press, including The Guardian, Inc Magazine, People Management and Virgin.com.

it’s a simple format that any team can follow - you just need to answer three questions and be prepared to celebrate - with commitment.

  1. What do you fail at?

  2. How did you cope with it?

  3. What would you do differently?

Watch the video and try it out with your team. If you need a hand, get in touch.
