RESET: Find Your Voice, Find Yourself - The Retreat

A 3 day, intensive, facilitated, LEADERSHIP retreat to help YOU FIND YOUR INNER LEADERS VOICE and equip you with the tools to put it into action.

WHAT TRIGGERS THE NEED TO SHOW UP DIFFERENTLY?

Sometimes there comes a time where enough is enough and it’s time to take the step to feel heard. This can show up as:

  • Feeling you’ve ‘had enough' - I’m not feeling heard

  • A big event, promotion or change in circumstance may have brought about a realisation you need step into a stronger voice

  • Maturity and wisdom can trigger develop yourself further and speak up more

  • You may have seen others go through this process and come out the other side stronger

THE JOURNEY WE’LL GO ON

Facilitated by Matt and a small, professional team, we will help you:

  • Identify and give space to the root causes of what holds us back from speaking up

  • Expand out from this space into the possibilities of a different way of expressing and leading ourselves

  • Learn how to speak from the body and heart - in sync with our intention, rather than being interrupted by the mind

  • Develop a toolkit for storytelling, preparation, mind and body approach and a framework for the future

  • Practise speaking up, presenting authentically and creating an action plan for when you leave

 
 

Our Small, Professional Team

Matt Matheson

As your lead, I’m a public speaking and communications coach, hailing from Brighton, UK.

Working with clients ranging from The World Health Organisation and the EBRD through to O2 and Virgin, I specialise in helping people say what they need to say when it matters most.

Throughout the retreat I’ll be running the core coaching circles, helping you connect with your voice, your body and you message - then i’ll show you how to put it into action back out in the real world and equip you with a toolkit to do so.

Adam Hender

As a Mindfulness Coach, I’m here to coach Mental Fitness habits: simple awareness skills, mindsets, attitudes to allow positive momentum in our daily experience.

Allowing enjoyment and productivity.

Rewiring our brain with repetition in a similar way to training the body in a gym.

Using simple exercises to: energise aspects of our life that we can control, navigate our emotions, and allow effective action.

Balancing the activity in the brain and nervous system.

Allowing us to recover from challenges, make effective decisions, and boost our overall performance.

Zoe Boarer-Pitman

As your yoga teacher for this retreat my intention is to encourage your nervous system to rest. We will do this by making the brain/body/breath connection. With gentle breath and soothing movement we can bring the mind to settle, allowing the deeper digestion to take place without deliberate thought. Leaving you feeling more grounded and calm.

As your massage therapist for this retreat I will work with you to facilitate a deeper connection to your body. We will breathe into blockages within the body, creating flow and embodied relief. This will allow your body to release physical stress, tension, and old patterns. Bringing new possibilities to light.

You are sitting on a “goldmine” of stories.

On this retreat, I’ll be working with you to explore different narratives and work with them better - for yourself, your company Brand, your People, Customers and Communities.

I’ve been working with storytelling and narrative for over 20 years - informed by Theatre, Art & Design, Literature, Psychotherapy, Cultural Theory, Marketing and Communications.

On this retreat we will be getting creative, personal, proud and confident about our heritage, and future.

  • Embody and 'practise' being - speaking and acting in congruence with your values, beliefs and intuition

Florence House sits at the top of Seaford head on the edge of the South Downs. The house is surrounded by lush landscapes and sea breezes.

  • Standard fee (£1200 + VAT)

What's included?

A qualified team work on every aspect of your time with us - providing:

  • Fully facilitated communication coaching - group, 1-2-1 and circles
  • Private rooms, with sea or countryside views and peaceful dwelling
  • Full board - a wholefood nutritional, vegetarian menu, including snacks
  • Daily led yoga classes - from a YAP accredited 500HR+ teacher
  • Daily massage offerings - by a qualified therapist

Retreat timings

  • Day 1:

    • Arrival: 12.30pm

    • Afternoon: Coaching circles: Introductions, relationship building, letting go of what’s holding us back, creating a new blueprint for how we want to be seen

    • Evening: Meditation & shared learnings by the fire (yurt)

  • Day 2:

    • Morning: Light yoga, breakfast, coaching circles

    • Afternoon: Lunch, coaching circles: Developing a toolkit to put our blueprint into practise, defining storytelling and preparation tactics, integration coaching

    • Evening: Meditation and shared learnings by the fire (Yurt)

  • Day 3:

    • Morning: Light yoga, breakfast, coaching circles & brand story workshop

    • Afternoon: Lunch, coaching circle: Storytelling archetypes, practise, integration and presentations, goodbyes

    • Departure: Wednesday 3.00pm

Additional information

  • Built into the schedule will be ample free time to, include: Country and cliff walks, massage (included in price), quiet time, one-to-one support if needed.

  • Our venue has a beautiful dining room, a large workshops space overlooking the downs, an indoor open fire, multiple ‘quiet rooms’, a wood-fire powered yurt in the gardens and easily accessible coastal or down walks and treks.

  • Accommodation is based upon either shared, or single occupancy - choose at time of booking.

  • All meals provided will be whole-food, chef prepared vegetarian meals, with tea, coffee, fruit and snacks provided at all times

  • To go deeper, packages are available with post retreat coaching (6 sessions) to focus on integrating and expanding the work we complete on retreat
